Meet the Author

Born in Ayrshire and shaped by a life spent across more than fifty towns, cities and villages, Claire has always carried a deep understanding of what it means to search for belonging. From that longing grew Lullabrae - a world of warmth, Celtic lore and heart-first storytelling.

Claire has always been a storyteller at heart, drawing inspiration from the islands and wild coasts of her childhood, and the wonder-filled encounters with friendly folk and animals that have shaped her wandering life. The Wee Braes arrived during her own search for rest and grounding - tiny guardians woven from folklore, kindness and soft magic.

Today, Claire shares her stories inside the Lullabrae Story Club - a calm, carefully held space where adults gather for gentle sleep stories and moments of quiet connection.

Her belief is simple: stories can be a form of rest - a soft place to land when life feels too heavy or too loud. Through Lullabrae, she hopes to offer others the sense of comfort, belonging and quiet magic she once searched for herself.
